Wash the surface using a John’s 360° Clay Mitt to remove any foreign material and to help expose blemishes. Keep the mitt lubricated with soapy water.
Inspect the surface for any scratches, swirls, brush marks, haze, etc. After inspecting the finish, use the John’s 360° Correction Compound to remove any defects or, if desired, to give the finish a deep shine and an extra slick feel. If you seal over any imperfections, you will have to use a coarse compound to remove the ceramic coating.
Clean the surface using the John’s 360° Decon Spray.
Mix The Avenger in the provided mixing bottle using a 1:1 ratio — for example, mix 1/4 ounce of the sealant and 1/4 ounce of the activator to make 1/2 ounce of coating to apply. Shake well.
Apply 8-10 drops of the formula in a straight vertical line on the provided microfiber sponge applicator. This will cover 2-3 square feet.
As soon as you apply the coating, immediately use a clean microfiber cloth and polish it off. The coating may not feel greasy slick like wax does when you first wipe it off, but this is because the coating is still reacting to the application surface.
Repeat steps 5 and 6 until you have coated the entire surface.
Allow at least 3-4 hours for the reaction to cure, then polish back over the surface with a microfiber towel.
For an extra slick finish, wait 24 hours and apply the John’s 360° Speed Coat Ceramic Spray Sealant.
